OUR STORY
Founded in 2020, Akaroa Pottery and Crafts (formerly Kukupa Clay and Crafts) is a small, friendly environment that encourages and inspires your growth creating with clay. We believe everyone has an artist inside them, and we want to help you find your artistic voice. We offer both casual one off workshops as well as regular weekly classes. We serve as a support system for all students who visit our Pottery Studio by being a special place where your creative juices can flow freely. We’re dedicated to our students, and we provide you with the appropriate tuition and tools you need to succeed. It’s our mission to ensure that we offer classes to students of all levels - introducing newcomers to clay and creativity, and refining the techniques of those with more experience.
